Threadneedle assumes responsibility for investment funds formerly managed by Liverpool Victoria Asset Management

On 1st November, Threadneedle assumed responsibility for the investment funds formerly managed by Liverpool Victoria (LV =) Asset Management. This followed a strategic review by LV= where they decided to focus on its core activities within general insurance, protection and retirement solutions.  Having researched the market thoroughly, LV = believe that Threadneedle will provide an excellent solution for investors in the funds.

What happens to my clients' holdings?

  • If your clients have direct holdings they have now moved to Threadneedle where they will be managed by Threadneedle rather than LV=.
  • If your clients have ISA holdings, to allow this transfer to take place we will shortly be writing to all relevant investors. Your clients will need to complete and return a Threadneedle ISA application form.

Where will I find the prices and for these funds?

  • You can find prices for all of these funds here

Are there any changes to the annual management charges following the transfer?

  • The fees currently taken from the Companies in respect of investment management will not be increased as a result of the change of investment manager.

Are there any changes to commission payments?

  • The level of commission paid will stay the same following the transfer.
  • We will continue to pay commission on the same basis as before the deal so you do not need to take any action.

Will I need to agree to new Terms of Business

When will my clients receive their statement and valuations?

  • We are maintaining the same statement and valuation schedule so your clients will continue to receive statement and valuations at the same time. Statements are issued on the 30th June and 31st December each year (mailed within 25 working days of these dates).

If you wish to discuss any legacy LV funds, all of the contact details are the same as before the transfer.
