Investment approach
Combining Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and small / mid-cap stocks
The portfolio combines both AIM and small and mid-cap stocks within one portfolio:
AIM
- This market has a lower barrier to listing so allows many companies to raise capital who otherwise would not be available for investment - subsequently these are generally longer-term investments.
- Therefore there are a large number of under-researched companies which we believe are often undervalued by the market.
Small / mid-cap
- These stocks provide the portfolio with liquidity and shorter-term performance.
- Many of these stocks are under-researched and therefore undervalued.
